Description

Another blade belonging to an infernal creature, Serpent's Kiss is the tainted sword of Lylythé the first wife of mankind, and mother of the succubi race.

Lylythé was once one of the first divinely created creatures that would be the race of man, but bitter jealously caused this creature to pursue demonic power in order to bring about her vengeance. Tormenting mankind for centuries, Lylythé voluntarily fell, pledging herself to Lusyval’s service and transforming her form into a demonic aspect when the Archangel Mikail finally confronted her. Since that time she has continued to lead the sons of man into despair and grief both directly and indirectly. Lylythé is the grandmother of the entire succubi race and their various offshoots, and she often alights onto the earth to seduce both mortal men and women. As the mistress of half-truths, she does not ever tell a lie, but instead words the truth in such a way that her victim is led to believe what Lylythé desires. She is also know by her other form, that of a large black serpent and it is in this form that she most often first appears, for it is said that not even the gods or their angels can see her when she assumes the guise of the serpent. Lylythé’s personality is not one of passion despite what some may think based solely on her appearance and methods; instead she is a calculating planner, like every other item in her arsenal her looks and sexual allure are only a means to an end. As a once mortal, Lylythé can conceive children and does so on a frequent basis, the number of her children and grandchildren attesting to this, her direct children are always fully demonic but this thins to half blood or weaker thereafter.
Lylythé appears as a dusky skinned woman in her late twenties to early thirties, the color of her skin ranging from dark brown to a lighter shade with a hint of clay red depending on the lighting, she has long free flowing hair the reaches the small of her back that is a vibrant dark black with the faintest hints of red mixed within her tresses. Her black horns are almost unnoticeable as they sweep backwards curving with the skull like those of a dragon and are mostly concealed by her hair, appearing, when seen at all, is if they are some form of headband or adornment. Her eyes are dark brown with thick lashes and possess tattooed markings around them that look as if she is wearing some form of eye liner makeup. Her face is that of an extremely attractive mature woman possessing fine cheekbones with an expressive mouth and lips. Her body is curvaceous and nude, with small black tattooed script in the Infernal tongue running from her back at the shoulder blades, over her shoulders and down her upper arms to end at the elbow. Likewise this script begins at her lower abdomen and pelvis and extends down her thighs to her knees. This script is very minute and is not often even noticed from a distance of ten feet or more and is a series of infernal mantras designed to mask the aura of the bearer. Lylythé’s forearms as well as her calves and feet are covered in scaled black snake skin, giving the general appearance that she is wearing a set of gloves and boots, however closer inspection would reveal that the reptile skin is in fact a part of her and that she also possesses talons and claws on her limbs, which can be used for attack. A sinuously dexterous tail projects from her tailbone, roughly five feet in length, and resembles the lower half of a black python. Despite the vulnerable look of her bared flesh, her demonic transformation has rendered her skin as tough as a dragon’s scales when resisting damage, but still remains supple and soft yielding to an intimate touch. Unlike most of her grandchildren, Lylythé does not possess wings, though she can take to the air if she so desires.
Her other form is that of a large 20 foot black serpent that resembles a python save that it possesses venomous fangs. Unlike normal snake eyes, this form possesses circular pupils and is the same brown coloring as her other form.

Long ago, before mortal man set foot upon the world, before there was even a world to step upon, and even before the ancient war that split the celestial armies, there was a plan. It was referred to as The Plan at the time, for there was only one and all knew of it. This plan was designed and brought forth by the hands of the divine, the God Arik and the Lords of Light, and it was to create a place for the gods and goddesses to bring forth their creation of a new race. One to nurture and let grow upon this place so that they might learn and in turn, the divine would learn from them as they watched over them and guided their steps. As the beginning of this proposed new race, the Lords of Light created two individuals, one a male, sculpted in hardened muscle and strong carriage, intelligent and capable of defending himself and those he loved from the dangers that living would bring. This one they named Adon, ‘The First’ in their language. The other was a female, shaped by the hands of the goddesses in a statuesque figure, possessing the strength of womanhood hidden beneath the curves of sensuality, a fitting partner to the male. This vision of loveliness they named Lylythé. However, once the pair was placed upon the newly created world they began to argue between themselves. Both were equal and therein lay the problem for neither would bend to the other’s requests. The Lords of Light were perplexed. Never before had they run into the emotion of stubborn pride and they did not know how to resolve the issue. After much discussion, the Lords decided to create a new member of the couple but which to replace? In logical fairness, it was decided that the most senior would stay and since the goddesses had spent so much time crafting the beauty of the woman, she was the second finished.
Together, the Lords of Light attempted to create another woman, this time investing the ability to see beyond her own ego and to know when to let her partner have his pride. The finished creature was christened Eva, for she was at the end of their plan’s labor and she went to dwell with Adon. After much more consultation amongst themselves, the Lords decided to remove Lylythé from the lands of Adon and Eva, planning to create a mate in the same manner for her in another area of the world, but she could not be found. Having been replaced, Lylythé developed another trait that the Lords had never encountered before, jealousy. She fled the lands of her former partner and came to dwell in the areas that still roamed with chaos from the world’s beginning. There she discovered strange creatures that lived within the chaos and learned much from observing them in secret. Thus the ways of the demons came into her heart and mind.
Returning to the lands of Adon, Lylythé took with her a fruit from the lands of the demons and planted it near where the two lived. Overnight the seeds sprouted into a tree heavily laden with fruit and when the pair came and beheld the fragrant bounty, they reached to partake of it. Immediately a celestial servant of the Lords appeared and forbid them to eat, citing that the fruit would destroy them if they did so, but Lylythé disguised herself as a large serpent of dark black scales and slithered from the tree saying that it would not kill them to eat, but in fact would bring them great pleasure in its flesh. The servant lowered his sword and warned the pair again that the fruit would destroy them if they ate, but left saying that it was to be their own choice in their actions. Resuming her true form, Lylythé leapt down from the tree and plucked a ripe morsel in her hand. Showing the pair, she bit deep into the fruit, letting the juices flow down her bare skin. She assured them that it would do them no harm again and plucked forth one in each hand to offer them. The pair took the fruit and ate it together, noticing for the first time the unclothed state of the other as the chaotic born seed of lust sprouted within their bodies from the fruit and for a time Lylythé was content to watch as the pair wasted much of their time in passionate lovemaking rather than in the pursuit of knowledge. But the Lords of Light had foreseen such a thing occurring and within the pleasure of passion a child was conceived within the body of Eva. Enraged that her vengeance would become a tool for the Lords and that it would bring even more joy to the couple, Lylythé fled again and hid, abiding her time until the brood of Eva and Adon numbered two and had come of age.
Once more she crept into the lands of man in the form of a black serpent to find the eldest away from his family, hunting for food and she appeared to him in her normal form, unclothed and unashamed. With easy familiarity she drew near to the awe struck boy and gathered him into her arms to recline upon the ground and there she made him a man. Leaving his slumbering form behind, Lylythé slipped away allowing him to awaken alone and thinking it his time with her was only a dream. When she appeared again a few days later to repeat her vigorous performance, she told him that he should not speak of her existence or their encounters to his family lest she be forced to leave and cease her ministrations. Thus she ensnared the son, returning every few days to couple in frenzied passion far from his family. But, unknown to him, in the days that she had been away from him, she had approached his younger brother as he tended the flocks in pasture, telling the same tale and practicing the same skills upon his body until one day she coaxed the elder to hunt for her in the pasture as if in lover’s sport, all the while knowing that he would find her astride his brother and praising his prowess to the wind. When he did discover them intertwined, his rage knew no bounds as he took up the stone knife he wore to skin game from his waist and plunged it into the chest of his brother ending his life. Turning upon the harlot who betrayed him he again raised his hand only to have the implement knocked from his fingers as she seized him with inhuman strength by the throat. ‘By blood thou hast sealed thy fate mortal!’ she whispered, her eyes gleaming with triumph. ‘Now swear and serve me or face the same end at my hand as thou gavest thy brother!’ Thus the first man to serve the demon cause swore. His first task, one he had relished only days before, was to seed his mistress with a daughter, but that was only the first, for as the race of men grew, it became his task to find those of his brethren that would fall to the charms of Lylythé and her daughter, heightening her power upon the land until the Lords, enmeshed within the celestial war of the Betrayer, finally noticed her actions. Having just cast out a third of their own to the infernal plane, Mikail himself descended to the land and stalked the viper in female form, confronting her and her offspring with bared blade. In cold calculation, Lylythé plunged her hand into the chest of her mortal daughter and ripped out her beating heart as she pushed the girl onto the celestial’s blade. With heart in hand, she swore her allegiance to Lusyval the Betrayer and transformed both the heart she held and her own flesh into forms of power and thus Serpent’s Kiss was forged from her daughter’s dying heart as she became Lylythé the Entrapper, Demoness of the Twisted Tongue and servant of the Fallen. To this day she wields the blade, created from her first daughter, as she and the rest of her spawn work towards the downfall of mankind. All from the jealousy of the spurned.
